The children are asked to come in costumes with or without masks, funny, ugly, beautiful or original, doesn’t make any difference, just so they are in costume. There will be prizes for children from 1 to 6 years of age. Other prizes for those 6 to 10 and more prizes for those 10 to 15 years of age.
Prizes will be given for the prettiest, most original and funniest in each age group. Choosing of members of the court, the king and queen will take place this week.
A small admission charge of 15c and 25c will be made and the proceeds will go to the Ladies of the Altar Society to help buy needed articles for the Altar of St. Rita’s church.
