I made someone very happy today. I was scrolling through the Catahoula Lake Memories group and saw that Jake Bourque had posted a question last year, asking if anyone had photographs of his grandfather fishing.

As it turns out, I DID have such a photograph -- this photograph -- so I sent it to him, along with a couple of instant Polaroids of his grandfather holding huge fish. Definitely made his day. Anyway, I love this old photograph . . . the picturesque cypress knees, the old bridge in the background, the fisherman reclining . . . It takes me back.
