catahoula elementary scrapbook

Had a full weekend of scanning photographs in Catahoula. Dug through boxes and bags of old photographs, turning up a lot of buried treasures. Visited five people in their homes and scanned six family collections of photographs.

And the day after the freeze, as the ice in the trees was beginning to thaw, Tammy dropped by with her sister, her mother, her daughter and her niece, all wearing robes, fresh from a pajama party, to give me this old scrapbook Cliff Durand kept while he was principal of Catahoula Elementary from 1966-1983. It's falling apart, and some of the photographs are missing, but it's still quite the treasure chest.
