The frogs were placed in an ice chest and covered with cubes of ice. Chilled, they quickly grew sluggish.
One by one they were killed -- heads smashed against the concrete driveway. Then their carcasses were carved into torsos and pairs of legs which were fricasseed, battered and eaten.
